Sometimes this feature stops working for some email addresses because it gets caught in the spam trap (this happens often for corporate email addresses).
We can apply an alternative method so that the customer receives this email.
¶ Step 1. Add a hidden field to the form
This field has to contain the email address that will receive send-to-email notifications.
¶ Step 2. Switch on “Send Response” feature in Advanced settings
¶ Step 3. Add confirmation action
¶ Step 4. Set hidden field as a form field to which you need to send email
¶ Step 5. In the email subject write site name and form name
For example, site: Medlemsfest; form: Medlemsfest
¶ Step 6. Create Email Template
- Go to Email Builder
- Delete all unnecessary blocks, perhaps you can leave the header and the footer with the company's logo etc.
- Add a text block
- Add variables and their names - those are the form's fields you want the customer to see in the email. To start writing a variable, type “%" symbol and it will show you prompts in the list
- Save this template
- Make sure email sender is customer's domain
